Institute of Business Research Congratulates PhD. Linh TM Doan on Her First Academic Publication

   The Institute of Business Research is delighted to congratulate PhD. Linh TM Doan, a participant in the joint PhD program with the University of Lincoln, on her outstanding achievement. Within her first year, Ms. My Linh has accomplished a significant milestone that few can achieve so early in their doctoral journey. This impressive success not only reflects her dedication to research but also demonstrates her exceptional effort and commendable academic achievements.

   PhD. My Linh's article, titled "Mitigating Overconsumption Through Mindfulness: The Role of Cashless Payments in Impulsive Buying and Sustainable Consumer Behaviour," has been published in the Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies (JCEBS), a prestigious journal published by Taylor & Francis and affiliated with the Oxford University Press. With a CiteScore of 5.4, JCEBS ranks in the top 10% of the Scopus category for 'General Economics, Econometrics, and Finance,' and has an Impact Factor of 2.4, placing it in the Q2 category of SSCI/ESCI economics journals.

  This remarkable achievement not only showcases Ms. My Linh's exceptional research abilities but also demonstrates her successful transition from a marketing professional to an academic researcher. Her efforts in exploring global issues such as sustainable consumer behavior and mindful consumption align with international research trends and reflect the Institute's deep commitment to sustainable development research, with a positive impact on society.

   This research has laid a solid foundation for Ms. My Linh's promising research career, and the Institute is confident that she will continue to make significant contributions through her future research.    PhD. My Linh shared, "I am honored to share my journey in creating my first research product in the joint PhD program with the University of Lincoln. This process was both challenging and rewarding, from finding a direction to completing the research, all thanks to the dedicated support from lecturers and experts from UEH University and the University of Lincoln. The first product is not only a personal effort but also the result of insightful guidance and valuable resources from the program. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Lincoln PhD program for helping me develop critical thinking and build a solid foundation for my future academic research career."

   The PhD Program in conjunction with Lincoln University offers many special benefits to PhD students during their studies and thesis completion. PhD students enjoy the same funding policies as UEH lecturers when publishing internationally, along with the opportunity to publish their work in publications edited by the Institute of Business Research (UEH). In addition, the program supports editing costs for 3 articles from the thesis with a funding level of 10 million VND each, along with a thesis editing package worth 30 million VND. In total, each PhD student can receive financial support of up to 60 million VND throughout the course.
