From December 2024 to June 2025, the Institute of Business Research (IBR) at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City successfully completed a short-term training program designed specifically for senior executives and unit directors of Far Eastern Group (Vietnam). This major program was tailored to comprehensively enhance managerial capabilities, leadership mindset, and operational skills required to navigate a competitive global business environment.

Far Eastern Group (FEG) is a leading Taiwanese conglomerate operating across diverse sectors, including chemicals, energy, technology, finance, retail, and construction materials. Backed by over 70 years of development, the group holds assets exceeding $100 billion and generates annual revenues of more than $23 billion.

Launched in December 2024, the customized curriculum covered eight core topics tailored to the company’s real-world needs:

7. Key Skills for Successful Leaders
8. Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving

Upon completion, participants expressed high satisfaction with the program’s overall quality. The learning materials, instruction methods, and interactive dynamic throughout the course received very positive feedback. Most attendees noted that the practical knowledge gained directly aligned with their daily managerial responsibilities amidst rapid business transformation, fulfilling the program’s initial objectives.
