The Lincoln 3+1 Bachelor’s Program is an international joint degree program awarding a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics between the University of Lincoln (UK) and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). The program is designed to provide Vietnamese students with access to a high-quality, international-standard, partial European study-abroad model at a highly optimized cost.
1. Admission Requirements
Applicants must fall into one of the following categories:
- Students who have completed their first 02 years of study at UEH.
- Students who have completed their first 03 years of study at UEH.
- Students who qualify for admission to UEH: Students will study their first 3 years under the UEH curriculum, followed by 1 year of transfer to the University of Lincoln.
English Language Requirements:
To be officially accepted for study at the University of Lincoln, applicants must meet one of the following English proficiency criteria:
- Achieved at least a grade C in the GCSE certificate.
- IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 6.0 (with no sub-skill below 5.5).
- Other equivalent requirements accepted by the University of Lincoln, as published on their website.
Note: Applicants who do not meet the above English requirements must take an equivalent English test organized by the University of Lincoln and achieve a minimum result of B2 on the CEFR scale.
2. Curriculum
- Medium of Instruction: English
- Duration: 3 – 4 years
- Years 1–3: Students study undergraduate modules at UEH, equivalent to 240 credits.
- Year 4: Students study the international joint undergraduate program as published on the University of Lincoln’s website, choosing from the following majors:

- Year 4 Tuition (at the University of Lincoln): £13,280/year (with a 20% tuition fee reduction already applied).
- The total tuition fee for studying at the University of Lincoln under the Lincoln 3+1 Bachelor’s Program is approximately 849,920,000 VND. This pathway saves up to 40% of the cost compared to a full-time study-abroad program. (Applicable exchange rate: £1 = 32,000 VND).
