On March 27, 2026, at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), the Institute of Business Research (IBR) hosted a formal meeting and reception for the delegation from Ningbo University of Finance and Economics (China). The meeting took place in a cordial and professional atmosphere, marking an important step toward strengthening international collaboration and expanding UEH’s global academic network.

Representing IBR were Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh, Dean of the Institute of Business Research; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dang Khoa, Program Director of Business Administration; along with other faculty members and representatives of the Institute. The delegation from Ningbo University of Finance and Economics included Prof. Li Shuyan, Dean of the School of International Economics and Trade; Prof. Liu Lan, Dean of the School of Art and Design; Assoc. Prof. Xia Ke, Vice Dean of the School of Humanities; Assoc. Prof. Wang Qi, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages; Prof. Ding Peng, Executive Deputy Director of the RCEP Research Center; and Assoc. Prof. Zeng Han from the same center. Their diverse academic backgrounds contributed to rich and multidimensional discussions during the session.

During the meeting, both sides discussed potential areas of collaboration, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, development of joint academic programs, and the implementation of academic initiatives in the context of globalization. These discussions are expected to open up practical and meaningful opportunities for future cooperation.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh emphasized that IBR consistently prioritizes international collaboration to enhance the quality of education and research, and expressed confidence that the discussions would serve as a strong foundation for impactful partnerships in the future.

In addition, representing Ningbo University of Finance and Economics, Assoc. Prof. Wang Qi, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, shared the objectives of the visit and highlighted potential directions for bilateral cooperation.
