From December 2024 to June 2025, the Institute of Business Research (IBR) - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) successfully delivered a short-term executive training program for the leadership team and division directors of Far Eastern Group (Vietnam). This was one of the large-scale courses, meticulously designed to comprehensively develop management capabilities, leadership mindset, and organizational operation skills for businesses in the context of global competition.
Far Eastern Group (FEG) is a leading multi-industry conglomerate based in Taiwan, with operations spanning chemicals, energy, technology, finance, retail, and building materials. With a legacy of over 70 years, the Group holds assets exceeding USD 100 billion and generates annual revenues of more than USD 23 billion.
Prof. Vo Xuan Vinh shared his academic knowledge and practical experience with the participants.
Commencing in December 2024, the short-term training program for Far Eastern Group spanned a comprehensive learning journey, encompassing eight key modules that were rigorously developed based on the practical needs of the business:
1. Preserving and Developing Corporate Culture
2. Strategic Management
3. Team Management
4. Organizational Behavior
5. Negotiation in Management
6. Labor Relations Management Skills
7. Essential Skills for Effective Leadership
8. Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
Upon completion of the program, participants highly appreciated the overall quality of the training content. The teaching materials, lecturers’ delivery methods, and the level of interaction throughout the course received very positive feedback. Most participants believed the knowledge provided was highly applicable and relevant to their real-world management work, especially in the context of rapid business transformation. The course objectives successfully met initial expectations.
