UEH Institute of Business Research and University of Massachusetts Lowell: Advancing International Collaboration in Graduate Education and Research

On the morning of July 24, 2025, the Institute of Business Research - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held an online meeting with representatives from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell), paving the way for meaningful collaborations in graduate education and research development. This initiative is part of UEH’s internationalization strategy, aiming to strengthen global academic partnerships and expand joint educational programs to meet the demands of globalization and international integration in higher education.
 
The meeting was joined by two distinguished scholars: Prof. Yi Yang - Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Manning School of Business; and Prof. Hieu Phan - Department of Finance, Manning School of Business. On behalf of the Institute of Business Research (UEH), Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh and M.A. Le Tran Tuan Anh actively participated in the discussions and exchanges within the framework of the program.

During the session, Prof. Vo Xuan Vinh - Dean of the Institute of Business Research (IBR), UEH - and UMass Lowell faculty members shared a common vision for developing highly internationalized graduate programs. The discussion opened up several promising directions for collaboration, particularly in co-developing joint MBA programs, Master's and PhD tracks, as well as integrated models that combine research, application, and innovation.
Partnering with UMass Lowell marks another significant milestone in UEH’s journey to expand its global academic network, alongside long-standing collaborations with leading institutions such as Nanyang Technological University (NTU - Singapore), University of Leicester (UK), and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium).
This partnership represents a crucial step forward in UEH’s mission to bridge global academic knowledge with real-world impact, reaffirming its pioneering role within the international education ecosystem where every program aims to promote sustainability and deliver practical value to society.
