Institute of Business Research – UEH and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) engaged in strategic dialogue to elevate research and training collaboration quality

On August 8, 2025, the Institute of Business Research (IBR) – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held an online meeting with representatives from Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore). The discussion focused on strategies to enhance the quality of joint research activities and expand training cooperation opportunities between the two institutions.
Representing IBR were Prof. Vo Xuan Vinh – Dean of the Institute of Business Research, MSc. Le Tran Tuan Anh and Mr. Pham Quoc Thy. From NTU, participants included Prof. Nigel Phang Yew Keong, Associate Dean of the Business School; Assoc. Prof. Sadat Reza, Coordinator of the PhD Program at the Business School; and Ms. Kate Bui, Head of the International MBA Program in Vietnam.
NTU Singapore is recognized as one of the world’s leading public universities, ranked 12th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and 30th in the THE World University Rankings 2025. These achievements underscore NTU’s distinguished global standing in higher education and leadership training.

During the meeting, both parties shared a unified vision to develop and elevate joint research and training programs, emphasizing quality enhancement, scale expansion, and diversification of collaborative formats. The meeting laid the groundwork for prioritizing the development of internationally accredited training programs aligned with the global integration trends in higher education.
Expanding cooperation with NTU marks a significant milestone in UEH’s internationalization strategy, reinforcing the university’s position within the global academic network. This collaboration reflects UEH’s vision to cultivate a dynamic international education ecosystem, harmonizing academic knowledge, practical application, and innovative approaches to promote sustainable development and create lasting value for the community.
