UEH Enhances International Collaboration with the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom

On April 15, 2025, a delegation from the Institute of Business Research (IBR), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), paid an official visit to the University of Huddersfield (United Kingdom) to exchange and discuss strategic directions for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
The UEH delegation included Prof. Vo Xuan Vinh – Dean of the Institute of Business Research, and Assoc. Prof. Tran Dang Khoa – Director of the Undergraduate Business Administration Program. On behalf of the University of Huddersfield, the meeting was attended by Prof. Monty Adkins – Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abhijit Sharma – Director of Strategic Partnerships, along with faculty members and researchers from the Huddersfield Business School. The working session took place at the University of Huddersfield's main campus in an open, professional, and academically driven atmosphere.

During the visit, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on a joint doctoral training initiative, aiming to establish a high-quality program aligned with international standards and learner needs. Special attention was also given to research collaboration and faculty/researcher exchange, opening up significant opportunities for academic connectivity between UEH and the University of Huddersfield.
Beyond academic cooperation, both parties explored solutions to enhance teaching quality and learning environments. The discussion covered the exchange of best practices in program management, faculty development, and the implementation of research projects with practical applications. Both institutions expressed a strong commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple domains, working towards the establishment of a long-term and sustainable strategic partnership.
