1. TUITION FEES
Annual tuition fees are applied in accordance with the international student fees of the University of Huddersfield and are publicly announced on its official website, details here. Reference fees for the academic year 2026-2027 are as follows:

Full-time Program: 18,700 GBP / year

Part-time Program: 8,500 GBP / year

Tuition fees are collected in Vietnam Dong (VND). The conversion rate will be based on the selling rate of Vietcombank at the time of collection.

Tuition fees may change each academic year according to official announcements from the University of Huddersfield.

The above fees do not include accommodation, travel, insurance, and defense costs in the UK (if any). Depending on the specific nature of the research topic, candidates might need to pay additional fees for specialized resources or equipment.

Fee payment mechanism: UEH collects the tuition fees on behalf of UOH as authorized by the candidate, ensuring a convenient process compliant with legal regulations.
2. SCHOLARSHIP POLICIES FROM THE INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS RESEARCH (IBR)
With the objective of creating an excellent academic environment and encouraging talented researchers, IBR implements attractive scholarship packages in the form of tuition incentives. Candidates can register to accumulate tuition fee reductions up to the following brackets:
Group A Scholarship – Direct participation in research at UEH:

10% Tuition Reduction: For candidates committing 12 hours/week to participate in research and support activities directly at IBR.

5% Tuition Reduction: For candidates committing 7 hours/week to participate in research and support activities directly at IBR.
Group B Scholarship – International publication capacity:

10% Tuition Reduction: For candidates committing to have 02 international scientific papers/year affiliated under UEH, with co-authorship between UEH faculty and University of Huddersfield faculty.

5% Tuition Reduction: For candidates committing to have 01 international scientific paper/year affiliated under UEH, with co-authored standing between UEH faculty and University of Huddersfield faculty.
Scholarship Recipient Benefits:
Aside from financial deductions, scholarship recipients will become core elements in the IBR research network, gaining deeper access to key research projects and enhancing professional capacity through practice. Program candidates enjoy full rewards/funding benefits for international publications according to UEH regulations.
Official Notification of Tuition Fees & Scholarships – Joint Program
The Management Board of the International Cooperation Program with the University of Huddersfield announces the scholarship and tuition structures as follows:

Tuition fees will be based on the MPhil/PhD training fees of the University of Huddersfield (part-time) at £8,300/year (for the 2025-2026 academic year, subject to updates for 2026-2027).

Fees vary yearly based on the Link published on the University of Huddersfield website.
To support human resource development in Vietnam and foster UK-Vietnam relations, the two universities have signed an agreement whereby Huddersfield grants scholarships via tuition incentives to qualified candidates selected by UEH.
Note on Scholarship Maintenance: Recipients of the UEH-IBR joint doctoral scholarship are responsible for actively participating in scientific research activities, training, workshops, and academic events of UEH and IBR. This is a mandatory condition to review and maintain annual scholarships.
Performance-Based Scholarship Tiers (Evaluated Annually):

Level 1: 50% Reduction of published University of Huddersfield tuition fees.

Target: Lecturers with proven research experience backed by multiple publications in reputable international scientific journals, excellent research proposals, and outstanding academic profiles evaluated by the committee.

Level 2: 40% Reduction of published University of Huddersfield tuition fees.

Target: University lecturers with research experience but fewer high-reputation international publications, whose research proposals and academic profiles are evaluated as “Good” by the committee.

Level 3: 30% Reduction of published University of Huddersfield tuition fees.

Target: Applicants meeting entry requirements with international publication potential, a “Good” research proposal, and satisfactory academic profiles.

Level 4: 20% Reduction of published University of Huddersfield tuition fees.

Target: Candidates meeting entry requirements with research experience, publication potential, and a “Good” research proposal.

Level 5: 10% Reduction of published University of Huddersfield tuition fees.

Target: Candidates whose research experience meets entry requirements and whose proposal is evaluated as “Good”.
