International Conference on Finance 2024 (VICIF 2024)
On July 1–2, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) collaborated with Foreign Trade University, University of Economics – The University of Danang, International University – Vietnam National University HCMC, VinUniversity, and the Vietnam International Finance Association to successfully organize the 8th International Conference on Finance (VICIF 2024) at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, HCMC. 2nd RAJAGIRI Conference on Economics and Finance (RCEF 2020)
Rajagiri Business School (RBS), in association with the The Indian Econometric Society (TIES) and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), co-organized the 2nd Rajagiri Conference on Economics and Finance (RCEF 2020) on November 5–6, 2020. The Institute of Business Research (UEH) was assigned as the lead unit representing UEH to co-organize the conference. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was held virtually. Scholars, researchers, PhD candidates, and attendees were invited to submit research papers in economics and finance. For more infomation.
Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting 2019
The 31st Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting took place at UEH, attracting nearly 300 speakers and scholars, including approximately 250 international delegates. This is a large-scale annual conference held at universities across the Asia-Pacific region. In 2019, UEH was honored to host the conference, marking the first time an international conference of the Asian Finance Association was held in Vietnam. UEH-NTU Conference 2019
The Institute of Business Research – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) co-organized a conference with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to share experiences in university governance and international ranking participation. Nanyang Technological University is one of the world’s leading universities, ranked 12th in the QS World University Rankings at the time. Therefore, the conference served as a forum enabling UEH faculty members to access, exchange, and discuss ranking metrics, research strategies, and HR management to support UEH in joining international university rankings. Annual Asian Law and Economics Association Conference (AsLEA 2017)
On June 22–23, 2017, the 13th Annual Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) Conference took place at Campus A, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. The Asian Law and Economics Association is an international non-governmental organization established in 2005. AsLEA was first held at Seoul National University and is organized annually across ASEAN countries.
In 2017, AsLEA was hosted in Vietnam for the first time, featuring over 70 experts in economics and law along with 6 keynote speakers from around the world. The event received over 479 research submissions in economics, finance, law, and economic law, with the 60 best papers selected for presentation. For more infomation.
The 1st INFINITI Asia-Pacific Conference on International Finance 2016
The Asia-Pacific INFINITI Conference on International Finance, part of the broader INFINITI Conference series, is recognized as a prestigious event gathering prominent professors from world-leading universities such as Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), Fordham University (USA), University of Sydney, University of Queensland, Monash University, and Massey University. Held biennially, the conference saw UEH serve as the first host university in Vietnam for its inaugural edition in 2016. For more infomation.
