Program Details

Training Duration: From 54 to 96 months.

Language of Instruction: English

• PhD candidates are supervised by at least 2 supervisors (1-2 supervisors from UEH, 1-2 supervisors from Lincoln).
• Candidates will participate in courses and scientific seminars at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) or the University of Lincoln through a blended-learning format.
• Candidates must complete the MPhil program before transferring to the PhD program.
• Candidates must dedicate at least 10 weeks to study and research at the University of Lincoln. These 10 weeks are allocated across at least two visits by the candidate to the University of Lincoln during the entire duration of the course.
• The PhD dissertation defense will take place at the University of Lincoln (United Kingdom).

Degree Awarded:

Upon completion of the program, candidates will be awarded a PhD degree by the University of Lincoln, and a certificate of participation by UEH.

Supervisory Board:

• Head of the Steering Committee for the International Joint Program with the University of Lincoln: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong.
• Head of the Executive Board for the International Joint Program with the University of Lincoln: Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh.
• The supervisory team is selected to align with the candidate’s research direction from the faculty members of the University of Lincoln and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.

English Requirements: Requires an English proficiency level of B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or equivalent. If using an international certificate, an IELTS score of 6.5 or above is required, with no skill below 6.0. See more here.
