SCHOLARSHIP POLICIES
Note: Candidates receiving scholarships from the PhD joint training program (scholarships granted by UEH – IBR) are responsible for participating in scientific research, training, seminars, and academic events of UEH in general and the Institute of Business Research (IBR) in particular. These activities not only enhance the program’s quality but also create opportunities for PhD candidates to develop their expertise, improve their research capacity to meet graduation standards, and promote the cohesion and overall development of the program. This is a mandatory condition for the consideration and maintenance of scholarships for PhD candidates.
With the goal of creating an excellent academic environment and encouraging talented researchers, the Institute of Business Research (IBR) offers scholarship programs in the form of tuition fee discounts for the program’s PhD candidates.
PhD candidates can register to participate in the financial aid/tuition support policy to accumulate tuition fee discounts:
- Group A Scholarships – Participating in direct research activities at UEH:
- 10% tuition fee reduction: For candidates committing to spend at least 12 hours/week participating in direct research activities at UEH.
- 5% tuition fee reduction: For candidates committing to spend at least 6 hours/week participating in direct research activities at UEH.
- Group B Scholarships – International publication capacity:
- Program candidates enjoy full reward/sponsorship benefits for international publications according to UEH regulations. The reward/sponsorship level can be up to 70% of the annual tuition fee.
Besides financial reductions, PhD candidates receiving scholarships will become core elements in IBR’s research network, gaining deeper access to key research projects and enhancing their professional capacity through practical experience.
