Building on the success of the scientific seminar titled "Arguments for the Development of the Digital Economy," held on January 24, 2024, in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, the Institute for Business Research at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Central Theoretical Council and the University of Economics, Da Nang University, will conduct a seminar on "The Impact of International and Domestic Contexts on Digital Economic Development: Opportunities and Challenges for Vietnam" in Da Nang City at 08:00 on March 4, 2024.
The seminar aims to assess the effectiveness of digital economic development within the domestic context and international integration, helping to identify strengths, weaknesses, limitations, difficulties, opportunities, and challenges. It will also provide a directional framework for the development of the digital economy through 2030, with a vision toward 2045. These assessments will assist relevant authorities, the Party, and the Government in refining the institutional and legal environment to meet the demands of international integration, thereby promoting rapid and effective economic development. This, in turn, contributes to fostering rapid and sustainable economic growth in support of the country's industrialization and modernization process.
The seminar is not only an academic event but also a multidisciplinary and multinational forum where professors, scientists, and managers can share and exchange ideas, collaboratively seeking specific solutions to promote digital economic development in the current context of globalization and strong digital transformation. This platform will enable Vietnam to assert its position and harness the benefits that the digital economy offers, contributing to the sustainable development of the nation.
