International conferences hosted by IBR-UEH

In recent years, the Institute of Business Research has organized many prestigious international conferences. Some of which includes:

  • International Conference on Finance 2024 (VICIF 2024)

On July 1-2, 2024, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) collaborated with Foreign Trade University, University of Danang - University of Economics, International University - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, VinUni, and the Vietnam International Finance Association to successfully host the 8th International Conference on Finance (VICIF 2024) at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City). <See more>

  • RCEF 2020: 2nd Rajagiri Conference on Economics and Finance

Rajagiri Business School (RBS) partnered with the Econometric Association of India (TIES) and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in co-organizing the Rajagiri International Conference on Economics and Finance (RCEF 2020) for the second time on November 5 and 6, 2020. IBR was proud to represent UEH to organize the conference. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, this conference was held virtually via the website. Scholars, researchers, graduate students, and attendees were invited to submit full research papers in the fields of Economics and Finance. <See more>

  •  Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting (Asian FA 2019)

The 31st Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting conference of the Asian Finance Association was held at UEH with the participation of nearly 300 speakers and scientists, including about 250 international delegates. This was a large-scale conference held annually at universities in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2019, UEH was honored to host the workshop, marking the first time hosting an international conference of the Asian Financial Association in Vietnam, in which IBR was proud to be the host. <See more>

  • UEH-NTU Workshop on University Governance 2019

The Institute of Business Research - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) partnered with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in organizing a workshop to share university governance experiences and participate in international rankings. Nanyang Technological University is one of the successful universities in the world, currently ranked 12th according to the QS World University Ranking. Therefore, the workshop was a forum for UEH teachers to have the opportunity to approach, exchange and discuss the principles of ranking, research, human resource management... in order to support UEH in participating in the international rankings in the near future. <See more>

  • Annual Asian Law and Economics Association Conference (AsLEA 2017)

The 13th Annual Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) conference was held on June 22 and 23, 2017, at Campus A of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. The Asian Economic and Law Association is an international non-governmental organization established in 2005. AsLEA was first held at Seoul National University and held annually in ASEAN countries.

In 2017, AsLEA was first organized in Vietnam with the participation of more than 70 economic and law experts and 6 speakers from all over the world. The conference was a great success, as AsLEA received more than 479 research topics in the fields of economics, finance, law, economic law, … and 60 of the best topics were presented here. <See more>

  • The 1st INFINITI Conference on International Finance Asia-Pacific 2016

Asia-Pacific INFINITI on International Finance Conference within the framework of INFINITI on International Finance conference was considered as one of the prestigious seminars with the participation of many famous professors from leading universities in the world, such as Trinity College Dublin Ireland, Fordham University USA, University of Sydney, University of Queensland, Monash University, Massey University... The conference is held every 2 years in which the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is honored to be the first university in Vietnam to hold the 1st seminar in 2016. <See more>
